All those attending the LAC2024 Conference must register and pay the conference fee

Please take note that presenters of accepted contributions can only be scheduled in the conference program if payment is received by April 19.

IALA Members

To be eligible for this rate, the attendee must have joined the IALA before February 2024 and must send the corresponding proof to the technical secretary. Otherwise, your registration will not be accepted for any purpose.

By bank transfer: please observe the relevant registration deadlines. Registration fees depend on the date the payment is received in our account. Any bank charges incurred are to be paid by the participant.

Please make sure to pay your registration fee before the deadline for the selected registration type. If your payment is not received before the deadline, the later fee will be automatically charged. An unpaid or only partially paid registration will not be considered as valid until it is fully paid.

All fees should be paid in EUR (€), free of all bank charges.

Payment policy

Registration and full payment of fees will be compulsory for attending any of the conference events.

If you don`t receive an automatic confirmation reply within 24 hours, please contact the technical secretary of the conference: secretary@lac2024.com

Final Invoice

The final invoice will be issued based on details provided while registering (Name, Contact/Invoice details etc). Any change of such details (Attendee’s name, address, VAT number etc.) is possible before the conference is over and will be subject to a 20€ fee.

Cancellation policy

Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified by e-mail to the conference technical secretary: secretary@lac2024.com and the followings conditions will apply:

In the event of cancellation by participants, no refund will be given.
Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.

Insurance and liability

By registering for the LAC2024 Conference, participants agree that the organizers do not accept liability for any impediment or disruption of the conference proceedings arising from political, social, health, travel, or economic events or any other unforeseen incidents beyond their control. The LAC2024 organisation will not be responsible for other services contracted directly by the attendees such as flights, hotel bookings etc. The conference cancellation conditions shall apply in all cases. Registration of a participant entails acceptance of the cancellation conditions.

All the participants attending the LAC2024 conference acknowledge the potential risks associated with the possibility of contact with the Covid-19 and other viruses and the ensuing medical and personal consequences.

By providing this information, the organizers disclaim any liability relating to insurance.

LAC2024 Publications

Accepted presentations (such as individual papers or papers which are part of a proposed session) may be included in the conference publications such as the programme, book of abstracts etc. if the organizing committee decides to publish any of these.

Contributions not suitable for publication will be rejected. Please have your work checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formal structure. The organisers reserve the right to edit them, if necessary, prior to publication.

By certifying that you have read these submission rules, you also confirm having received the prior approval from any co-authors to provide their data to the LAC2024 Organizing Committee
